MultiBeast 3.3 Update

Today MultiBeast was updated to version 3.3.  The latest version is now available at tonymacx86.com/downloads.

Please do not upload or redistribute MultiBeast to any other sites.

Full list of changes:
  • Replaced ElliottForceLegacyRTC with LegacyAppleRTC in EasyBeast
  • Updated Chameleon 2.0 RC5 - ATI Experimental to r748
  • Fixed HDAEnabler for ALC888 as it was 32-bit only, unlike the rest which were 32/64-bit.
  • Renamed all HDAEnablers to include the codec it enables: HDAEnabler888, HDAEnabler888b, HDAEnabler889, HDAEnabler889a and HDAEnabler892.
  • Added to Customization -> Boot Options -> Chameleon Instant Menu. Adds Instant Menu=Yes or replaces Timeout=n in /Extra/com.apple.boot.plist
If this utility has helped you, please consider a contribution to support further MultiBeast development.  Thanks in advance, and enjoy!

Hi all

I have Gigabyte EG45M-UD2H with ALC 889A sound chip, and everythink worked fine until I updated my SL to newest version by system update, after update I had to reboot system and remove /System/Library/Extensions/AppleTymceDriver.kextand after next reboot my OSX works fine but without sound. I read somewhere that I should install an untouched rollback driver or sth, so I run MultiBeast again and install rollback but still no sound, what should I do?

Thanks guys. This update fixed my audio issue.

I am using a gigabyte ga-p43-es3g / ALC 892 (no DSDT). I could previous only hear audio when booting from the iboot disk. That wasn't optimal since I had to choose, 4 gig and sound or 8 gig's without. I can now take full advantage of my setup!
