Today, iBoot has been updated to 2.7. Grab the latest version at tonymacx86.com/downloads.
- Updated bootloader to Chameleon 2.0 RC5 r748 ATI Experimental (Kabyl Branch). To clarify, this version works with both NVIDIA and ATI cards.
- Replaced Intel82566MM.kext with AppleIntelE1000e.kext.
- Replaced ElliottForceLegacyRTC.kext with LegacyAppleRTC.kext for compatibility with Intel boards.
Please do not upload or redistribute iBoot to any other sites.
If this utility has helped you, please consider a contribution to support further iBoot development. Thanks in advance, and enjoy!

Sandy Bridge?
Great work!
Just to know, does this new IBoot support more than 4 Gigs during installation...? If not, will we see a Chameleon bootloader with that soon?
Thanks!
Does this mean that I should reinstall iBoot?
Sorry if this question is dumb, I'm new to hackintoshing.
Sweet! Let's give this a whirl!
Does this mean we'll see an update to Multibeast, too?
it would be nice if the iboot team can make the next version work with RAID controllers, you guys have already made ATI compatibility possible and your awesome, keep up the good work
Jeepeebee: No.

Iboot 2.6 is working fine on my computer. Do I need to upgrade to this one?
Some error:
Bootscreen now is in Blue with a huge part of black (left upper corner)
But great work!
I have an Intel DP43TF and I cannot boot with this (or the last) version of iBoot but I can with an older version. Is there somewhere I should report this?
doesnt boot retail SL dvd - on my Acer with ATI Mobility 5650 after seeing "found vbios, booting from legacy space" or something like that screen goes blank and that's it.
Just hope this support Pentium 4 SSE2.
Although I can't use, thank you anyway.
Thanks a lot for your hard work!!!
works great on GA_P55_USB3 REV 1.0
My first post, so please be gentle with me ...
I have downloaded iBoot.iso and burned it with OS X Disk Utility, but it seems to contain just a text file.
I'm sure it must be me, but what did I miss?
Thanks, in advance.
Steve
ps - Gigabyte 1156 mb and I3 on order, so just preparing!
What ati cards does the new version support?
hi, i downloaded IBoot.iso and burned it to a CD.
after restarting computer and Fixing the Bios settings, I get the camelion prompt. After replacing the IBoot CD with "MAC OS X" DVD..., I press Enter so the boot process can begin, I get a black screen and everything freezes there.
Anyone? I purchased the mid build, installed and ran beautifully, just like the guide. Every smooth. After loading tons of apps, things got flaky (normal). I used the iBoot disk to load SL again, repair permissions, and ACLs, then now no reboot. The "-x", or "PCIBootUID=1" commands do not work.... Is there anyone out there with additional boot command solutions or work arounds? Would be most grateful!
doesnt working with DP35DP , iboot2.5 works ok!
