iBoot has been updated to 3.2. As always, this boot CD facilitates the direct retail installation of Mac OS X 10.6.x Snow Leopard via iBoot + MultiBeast. Pick up the latest version at tonymacx86.com/downloads.
- Updated bootloader to Chimera v1.5.4
- Updated Lnx2Mac's Realtek RTL81xx Ethernet Driver to v0.0.90
- For 10.6.x Snow Leopard only
If this utility has helped you, please consider a contribution to support further iBoot development. Thanks in advance, and enjoy!

Thanks Tony
I wonder when we will be able to make fresh install of Lion?
Would be nice to boot Lion on a PC without any preinstalled snow leopard, R U working on it?
Thanks
I installed fresh Lin on my Hackintosh and then used migration tool afterwards using installer disk created by move.
Thanx a lot, this comes really handy, nice coincidence because today i'm trying to get my i5+z68 to work with SL since Protools doesn't work well with Lion yet...
ok tonymac;thanks
Many many thanx tony !
thank you
I love the regular iBoot.It only take's 2 second's to download.
Thanks Tony, nice one!!!
rboot and a 'little' imagination regarding a USB drive allows a clean install of Lion
thanks tony
I found that a clean install of Lion can be achieved if you follow the Guide to put Lion on a USB stick. xMove didn't work right a couple of times, but when I added "Lion Extra DP4" to a USB stick installer, then it loaded no problem. Follow that guide and you'll be golden. I downloaded my copy from the app store, and made a bootable USB stick using that guide. Sorry Tony but xMove only works with a retail USB drive. It doesn't create one from the app store install which is totally legal and what many people want/need.
does it work wiht i5 laptop prcessors?
Deer tony,
My HD4870 still can't show me installation screen..
I did it with my 7600gs or 7300gs, after install osx retail, update-helper, multibeast, and change vga to HD4870 when rebooting. and after all, It works fine.
I can't understand why I can't install OSX retail with HD4870, even it works perfectly after installation is completed :(.
So I re-tested iboot 3.2 and still I can't see installation screen with my Perfect-Working-HD4870. :(....
I hope someday I can see Iboot new version - can install with HD4870 :), Thanks
Tony or MacMan, Would you please advise me where I can find which version of audio you have built into iBootLegacy 2.7.2? I'm having trouble locating this info. Not able to replicate the audio results I get while booted with this cd, want to duplicate the kexts loaded by the cd.
I managed to get Snow Leopard 10.6.8 up and running perfectly, then I used xMove 1.1 and it looked promising, then when I tried to reboot with iBoot, I got into a perpetual reboot cycle.
I tried EVERY combination of switches and gave up. Then I though about rBoot and rBoot work FIRST time without any switches.
I have tons of documentation but I am not sure where to post it. I'd like to help others.
Richard
Thanks Tony and others for the great job and easy guides!
I've used these specs:
Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4
i7 - 2600K
ASUS EAH4350 1GB
2,5"HDD... < 1TB
etc...etc..
Installed OSx 10.6 retail with iboot, used UpdateHelper and according the guide also update to 10.6.8.
Further following your guide and run multibeast, showed no problems except one.
Everything works perfectly for my setup. Switch to a PNY Quadro 2000 graphic card showed also no problems. Ethernet is Okay, but the only problem so far is i do not have audio yet.
Can the "UserDSDT" solve this problem or do you've another solution on this one???

Hi Tony,
I have installed Lion on HP DV5 everything works fine, (Except the Intel WiFi). My only proble is that whatever I do I get boot error if the USB stick is not inserted. Theoreticaly, since I have run the multibeast and chosen the Lion drive, I shouldn't need the USB right?
Can you help?
hi
tony can i install that in intel core 2duo 64bit 4gb ram with graphics card
Hello! I have been trying to burn iboot and I've always gotten "process failed"... To be specific I tried 3 times (with 3 different burning software) and all 3 times the process hung up at the end when "Synchroning Cache" is taking place at 99% of the burning process.
I tried with Nero Burning Rom 10, Power ISO and DVD Decripter.
What burning software have you people been using to burn iboot?
Thanks in advance.
Robert.
Hi, Is there any way to boot a USB from iBoot?
iboot opens as a text file ??
Hi Tony,
100% newbie. I have successfully installed Snow Leopard on an HP dv4 1140go with 4gb memory. Multibeast worked great to get the boot loader installed and the sound working BUT I cannot figure out how to get the network working or get better than factory screen resolution.
What is the secret to installing drivers on a MAC?
