This is only for new Mac installs? No benefit for existing?

Id like to know that as well.. any reason for us existing users to run newer version?

@Maarten-
Anything not listed in the changes above are unchanged. So if you've set up your system with a previous version of MultiBeast, no there is no reason to update or re-run it.

If, however, you'd like to experiment with USB 3.0, Chameleon RC5 Prerelease, or have a Core i3 system, you will need the latest version.

Hope this helps! :D

Geekbench score is a lot higher than before, but about my mac doesn't recognize my cpu correctly (unknown) the frequenzy is also incorrect. I installr Chameleon RC5 and tried the Smbios for iMac and MacPro

But now my RAM is shown correctly =)

My CPU: i3-530

My bios states my RAM speed is 1600 DDR3 but doing a clean install using multibeast 2.4.0 the profiler shows my RAM to be 800 DDR2. Is this just a cosmetic issueƄ

Hi everybody in this amazing page. First, i´m very sory about my english, i´m from Argentina. Now:
This is my config:
GA-x58A-UD3R (rev2)
i7-930 2.8GHz
12GB 1333MHz DDR3
ATI RADEON HD5770 1GB
2 monitors BenQ (via DVI, thats is the idea...)
MacOS X 10.6.4

I tried ALL (really, numerous posts and kinds, versions, etc) the post you have in the site but i can´t finish the process of install OS X.

I need your help MacMan, Tony!!! The installation process i do it in a disk via my macbook pro, using a disk (format ok, guid, etc) and installing the snow leopard with the terminal. For some reason i cant boot my snow leopard dvd, cause always have a kernell... :S

My problem is this: i cant configure my ATI 5770HD and my dual monitors via DVI. The result is: the display image looks very "low quality", but the system profiler says is in 1920x1080.
And in some cases (types of installations) the mouse is skiping o tearing.

I tried with all your guides guys!!!! I think i´m gonna be crazy... soon.

PLZ help me with yours awesomes brains... :D

Hey, just add option for core i3? Did it enough? What's about nvidia driver? (eg: 3xx series).. because almost notebook come with core i3 & nvidia 3xx vga..

It'll better if you include more option.. thanks, best regards.
