I believe that is only fair that the Chameleon developers receive acknowledgement for their work.

Thank you - zef, Turbo, dfe, netkas, mackerintel, mercurysquad, fassl, Kabyl, Crazor, Dense, Turbo, kaitek, iNDi, munky, JrCs, asereBLN, rekursor, mozodojo, meklort, AnV, valv, AzimutZ, Slice, cosmo1t, cparm

and : bumby, kalyway, Krazubu, XyZ, Galaxy, sckevyn, MasterChief, smith@@, blackosx, DHP, nawcom, scorpius, macman, dmazar

Without these guys who did the hard work we would not be where we are today, as this is not purely a tonymacx86 effort - far from it.

So I guess if we've used MultiBeast 4.1.0 then we don't need to worry about this? :)

What's the hurry, Joe? Speed kills :-)

Aside from being fun, this shows passion for the craft. Cheers and thanks for this amazing resource.

Good to know about it. I wondered already about the boot time already on my new Lion.

It still takes my machine over 30secs to boot from SSD.

great video tony!! maybe this place is the only place that can make such nerdy things so entertaining~

Hooooo! yes,

it looks like my Hackintosh is booting up faster. It takes now 40sec from Chimera to Lion, before it was like around 1m4sec.

Thanks so much for sharing this knowledge. bless.

by the way, i have a question maybe someone can explane me. in Multibeast 4.1 there is a option about "Generale CPU States", what does this mean? please i realy would like to know.. cheers

It also works well on 10.6.8.

kernel panic with this key (backtrace says driver.nullCPUPowerManagement was the reason).

I am running the CustoMacMini build. Using all defaults from MultiBeast and UniBeast.
A few weeks ago, I tried to trim down my boot flags to the shortest list possible. I booted without problem after removing "UseKernelCache".
But maybe a week later, I guess I did notice that it felt like booting was taking longer.
But two weeks later I also noticed that I had no more Graphics/Quartz Extreme Graphic Glitches! I had gotten these after installing the CustoMacMini TuneUp Kit. I didn't have them before. I couldn't figure out what exactly made the glitches go away, but I consistently did not have them.
Just now I added "UseKernelCache" ("Yes") back into my Boot.plist, and sure enough, two Restarts later, the graphic glitches have returned in the Dock and in Safari.

I think "UseKernelCache"="Yes" _CAUSES_ the Graphic Glitches when used after the CustomMacMini TuneUp kit.

Here's my current string, I'll be removing, "UseKernelCache".

Kernel
mach_kernel
Kernel Flags
npci=0x2000 darkwake=0 PCIRootUID=1
UseKernelCache
Yes
EthernetBuiltIn
Yes
Hide Partition
hd(0,4)
Timeout
1
Legacy Logo
No

If others can repeat this please post. Good luck!

I had some bad system freezes with the enabled kernel cache flag. That's why i removed the string. Now my system is as stable as bevor.
