Is it recommended to re-run this in anyway on the customac mini 2011? Will it lead to a more stable system?

dennis said...

Is it possible to just re-run this if I've already run an earlier version (4.0.3)? Should I re-check all the same patches as before, or just the new ones?

@dennis-
If you want to start fresh, delete your current /Extra folder and re-run what you ran before. Good luck!

I'm getting confused with all these software updates from Lion to Multibeast. All I can say is, that's a great name for a software update. :-D

Thanks for the Update. Just installed lion using UniBeast and MultiBeast 4.1 without any issues.
The only thing that was still required (and not yet incorporated in MB 4.1) is the AppleRTC.kext fix via Terminal to solve the CMOS reset issue.
Tony what is your opinion about this as I remember that you had reasons not to recommend that solution as universal fix?

Cheers SH

It would be smarter if they had a software where you just had choose your hardware (motherboard, cpu and gpu) and then the software would know what to patch by itself.

After updated to Multibeast 4.1, the sleep function is unavailable. Could you solve the problem?

Anonymous said...

how do you change resolution boot multibeats :( ?

Anonymous said...

Awesome, Tony! :) I deleted the /Extras folder and reapplied EasyBeast. For the first time my system booted the 64 bit kernel! Thanks very much for the hard work.

Wow, now osx lion boots fast. But I have to set the SATA drive in AHCI mode. It does not boot in IDE anymore. Is there a solution for this?

I do things and i dont really know if i should be or need to be installing them.

So i want to update MultiBeast. I use a Gigabyte MOBO and UserDSDT from this website. So i have a few questions about installing Kexts, do i need the ones i am asking about below or are these things enabled through the DSDT?

Realtek GIgabit Ethernet or Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx ?
Do i need the OpenCL enabler? (i have a Nvidia 560ti)
Do i need USB 3.0 Kext?
