I'm sure it's (and other videos by StingRay) is a good video.. but for somebody like me, who has limited English ability, much worse in listening than reading, it's too hard for me to understand..
Anyway, thank you for the hard work :)
OpenCL is nothing like OpenGL
the former is created specifically for computing
the latter is created specifically for 2D and 3D computer graphics
and "When you do scientific computing using OpenGL you always have to think about how to map your computing problem to the graphics context (i.e. talk in terms of textures and geometric primitives like triangles etc.) in order to get your computation going" quote from stackoverflow.com answer
OpenGL and OpenCL are managed by the non-profit technology consortium Khronos Group
OpenCL is similar to Nvidia's CUDA... a framework for execute across heterogeneous platforms consisting of CPUs, GPUs, and other processors
Apple created OpenCL to work side by side OpenGL and OpenAL
Apple didn't rip off nothing... they're different kind of software with different purposes
Thanks a lot for this Overview from MultiBeast!
That was another great video. I wish it had this before I started. Can't wait to see the next one.
you can .. have multiple categories in launchpad .. just drag one icon above other. it will create groups :d
Hang on... Looking at the UserDSDT description, it does say that it installs "Chimera v1.7.0 r1394 and tonymacx86 Remixed theme". It's two lines below the part where it says MacPro3,1 smbios.plist...
thanksfor this video … it helps me !
soon on fora !
Sebastien
What screen capture software is used?
Thanks,
Anon
Thank you again for all the work on MultiBeast and this awesome video!! I learned all that the hard way (from installing Lion about 20 times) but it's awesome info for new comers!! regardless, thank you!! Just one comment: if you say that we should backup the files before using MultiBeast, wouldn't it stand to reason that it should create a back up of the files before updating/changing/installing desired ones?? just a thought... :)
It should be mandatory that any hackintosher watch this video (and series of) before being allowed to post on the forums. The amount of time and effort that could be saved if people just took some time to understand what they're actually doing!
nice work keep it up
